But what truly builds a community is the willingness to include, engage, and extend empathy beyond immediate boundaries that creates a deeper, more lasting connection.
This philosophy comes alive at the labour camp, where Duville Cares has developed an anganwadi at Duville Estates construction labour camp, to support the children of construction workers. While their parents are engaged in building homes, this space ensures that their children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment. It is a quiet yet meaningful step towards creating an ecosystem that includes, rather than overlooks.
Building on this foundation of compassion, Duville Cares initiated a Toy Donation Drive to celebrate the joy of giving an effort that soon evolved into a collective expression of empathy. What began as a simple idea saw active participation from the Riverdale community, comprising nearly 6,000 residents across Riverdale Heights, Riverdale Residences, and Riverdale Suites. Along with the Riverdale site office teams, the initiative brought together residents and on-ground teams with a shared purpose.
The toys and essentials collected across these communities were carefully checked for quality, thoughtfully giftwrapped, and then distributed to the children at the labour camp, creating moments of genuine joy. The happiness on their faces spoke louder than words, reinforcing a powerful truth that meaningful impact is not defined by scale, but by intent and participation.
